GrEnA/E Consultants was founded in September, 2000 in response to the increasing demand by its principal, Stephen J. Andros, to participate in environmentally responsible construction projects.  The goals and objectives set forth for GrEn A/E Consultants are to provide sustainable and green consulting, technical assistance and education for the sustainable building industry.  Specific services offered are:

• LEED^TM consulting
• Sustainable design/Green architecture strategies and technologies
• Materials and products research
• Green product specifications

The firm is a member of the US Green Building Council, and a founding sponsor of the USGBC Arizona Chapter.  Stephen J. Andros was the first LEED^TM Accredited Professional in the State of Arizona.  The firm has on-going affiliations with the Construction Specifications Institute and AIA Committee on the Environment (COTE).  The main focus to date of GrEn A/E Consultants has been in the area of LEED^TM consulting/building certification and LEED™ construction specifications.  Currently, several projects in varying stages are registered and involved in the LEED^TM application process and we are actively involved in compiling and collecting the necessary information, performing calculations and consulting with project team members in an effort to satisfy the prerequisite and credit submittal requirements.  Our commitment, not only to environmental responsibility, but to quality work, scheduling and timely delivery are paramount to client satisfaction.
